--from (almost) the very start upon descending upon lore. it really only makes their fuck ups more fascinating and terrible by comparison, and i could definitely see Notha making the argument that their inherent divinity and distance from humanity makes them unfit to rule...god the WRITINGGGG!!!

YEAH YEAH YEAH plus it fits into both games' lore too what with the DF avatars being constructs deliberately created from a higher being and thus find it harder to think their commands not being absolute, while AQW avatars seemingly Came Into Being and were heavily influenced by their champions--

it really feels like malgor and AoR has changed the hero a lot, and i like it a lot as well! between having to confront their own pains and traumas paired with how the world is both lifting them up and dehumanising them, it really feels like they're coming to terms with what they are here.

i guess the entire trend we're seeing with the age of ruin saga is a big win for notha too, given the whole 'destroy the status quo to create a new one'....she fr would've cheered at malgor's monologue at fiamme about the avatars' incompetence huh LMAO
