I have a partner who will always do little things to surprise me, but today he sent me flowers because it’s the anniversary of George W. Bush getting a shoe thrown at him. I told him months ago that I consider it a holiday. Never had someone pay attention to my nonsense before.

I haven’t been to El Torero in years despite it being one of my husband’s favorite restaurants. It’s about a half hour from us.

I STILL haven’t made it to Kartchner’s! It’s well over an hour from us, but I’ve always wanted to go.

We have huge concerns about this in my wonderful district. The possibility of losing schools in our “village” is devastating.
