I am the same way. I will spring for a colored vinyl occasionally if it matches the aesthetic of the album's sound or artwork, but black is still my favorite overall.

Back then just knowing them was a luxury imo, it is hard to explain. Sort of an underground thing even after they were doing well.

One thing I like about where I work is that for most of the year it is pretty common to look outside and see 4 or 5 of them just wandering around in the fields. It can add some chill to a stressful day.
