You are 💯 . I don't always see the upside to having AuDHD, but most days I can find glimmers. The "happy" I am wired the way I am. Whether it's how I treat others, my sense of justice, my ability to memorize information, my ability to see details and colors others miss.

I am a people pleaser and the majority of the time it's to my own detriment. I can't stand thinking that someone is angry or disappointed in me. So I sacrifice my wants and needs. Then I learned about RSD. Talk about a light bulb moment.

I agree. The lived experience of 40 years painted a clearer picture. Patterns were easy to identify. Additionally I know myself better now. Sometimes I feel like if I had known sooner and received support, I could have advocated better myself at jobs or friendships.

I love coloring because my hyper focus just closes all the noise and distractions out. It's as if it allows a reset for my brain. Thank you for the suggestion to frame. I hadn't thought of that. 💙

Thank you! They are big babies.

I have fallen in love with pitties over the last 6 years. All the came from shelters. And they are simply the dogs I've ever owned. Their loyalty and intelligence is astounding. You'd never know the horrible circumstances they came from because they are always happy and loving. 💙

This is one of my favorite coloring books called Mythographic Animals. It's a challenging book with most illustrations containing very fine details.

Coloring is a therapeutic outlet for me, especially during recovery from burnout or meltdown. I finished this one today. Details are done with micron pens and colors are done with #copic markers.
This particular book has nice heavy paper and pages are single sided.

I couldn't agree more. It's as if these anti vax folks see Autism as a death sentence. They'd rather get polio or measles and die than have Autism. I find it insulting and degrading.

I am a late diagnosed #AuDHD. I am hyperlexic too. I love consuming information from a wide variety of fields. I guess most kids don't ask for an atlas and thesaurus for their fifth birthday. I attribute my world view to my high level of empathy and insatiable need for justice and equality.

That infographic is an excellent visualization of the trifecta. I'm hoping next time someone tells me that BPD, Autism, and ADHD have no intersectionality I can use it to explain and advocate for myself more effectively.
