WHY NOT? Medicare could be modified to benefit all American Citizens, not just the old. Instead of putzing around and getting nothing done, it's time for our elected officials to step up and join the other democratic nations that have already made healthcare a citizen's right.

The ACA isn't just "health care for people who don't have a conventional employer." It also disallows something that was incredibly common 20 years ago, which I fear is getting lost to generational memory: insurance companies could deny you health care for essentially any previous health problem.

Holy Smokes I logged in to check my ACA Silver plan premium for my wife and I for the upcoming 2026 year in Arkansas. The new premium is $3072 a month! $6000 deductible. We are definitely going to have to live on a lower income next year to ensure we do not go over the subsidy cliff. #ACA #Arkansas
