So much to look at and do but I just wanna go chill with psyduck and look at the waves

I love big creation-based games like Pokopia because I get to be surprised all the time by what specifically makes me happy. I built a little hot tub on a pier by the ocean for psyduck and I keep walking back to it and looking at it like ahhh...this is the best feeling in this game right now...

I LOVE PENDRAGON

plus the basic way of engaging with them (learn what habitat they like in the wild, THEN learn their personality and build them a house) hits every piece of the pokemon fantasy. they are interesting animals and then also roommates and friends with personalities. they nailed it!!!

this is the most alive pokemon have ever seemed. watching them ping around looking at stuff and playing with each other is so good, there is care and precision in their animations that's been missing from the core games (bc the mainline games prioritize simple looping combat stuff)...i love them

gonna need to pace myself so i don't smash everything else in my life right now!! but this is a gift because i can think about it and enjoy it for longer

if they like watching both of those they're gonna lose it!!! it's so good!!!

in fabula ultima, when I'm not GMing, i'm even playing a fairy knight inspired by arthurian legend so i'm in a very interesting soup!! haha

at the moment i'm playing pendragon, fabula ultima, under hollow hills, and triangle agency weekly or biweekly and i feel like i'm defragging my brain. sorting it in good ways. i love to think in these different shapes

playing a sweet drag queen looking for their son in Under Hollow Hills and it's so fun. this game is so good and the fairy world it creates is such a good platform for telling stories about loss, impermanence, queerness, big feelings. also i love rpgs

however. i do want to take a nap

writing when I am tired can convince me that what I'm writing is terrible, but I am learning to (mostly) stop freaking out about it and just keep writing. I've worked hard to make my baseline pretty good, and I always like it more on a re-read than I expect to!
