Every day the USLPA shares testimonials from players who have dealt with substandard facilities, housing and benefits while the league gleefully sells us on pro/rel and D1.

There are still 20% of teams who DO NOT EVEN OFFER health insurance. It’s time for the USL to act like a grown up league.

The ramifications of the USL model are an important topic on their own, and they’re impossible to extricate from the strike authorization we saw from the USLPA today.

The USL is desperate to enact pro/rel to grow its fanbase, but the league office offers little support to its clubs once the expansion checks clear. No revenue sharing, and an average of two clubs folding each offseason for a decade.

So cynical to drop this update 2-3 weeks before kickoff.
