Thanks to Ontario Science Center today for a Great workshop in Eerie Energy! It reinforced a lot of concepts we have been doing in class!

Students demonstrated a lot of creativity and had so much fun today in music class using #ChromeMusicLab. They created spooky melodies playing around with the elements of tempo, rhythm, and pitch to create spooky songs.

Working on creating our own Ted Talks by listening to some inspirational young speakers. We are taking notes on what we notice and we will begin brainstorming tomorrow.

Students in grade 4 learned about 3D printing today and how to use Tinkercad today to review math concepts and simple machines in science. We hope to see one of our designs printed next week when we visit the library.

Today students used @microbit_edu & trained a machine learning (ML) model to recognise when they are exercising/not exercising. They collected data to train the ML model, tested it, & improved it with computer code to make a smart device that uses AI. #edusky
