I tried RE4 Remake a few months back and felt the control just wasn’t there. Maybe I shouldn’t expect fluid FPS controls on a survival horror game - a genre I’ve never been super into despite continually trying.

Oh, see? I was just about to finally watch it, but after this review… 😆

Even if you’re not into basketball, look into Victor Wenbanyama.
He’s every fantasy analogy you can think:
-Regular person playing on an 8-ft hoop
-Adult playing against kids
-A created player in 2K with max height and all-maxed stats

Since then, I’ve been forced into endless Blitzball games.

Being able to talk just meant he was a douche who looked like crap and couldn’t wrestle.

I worked on a game that, by the time it was cancelled, the game it was chasing had come out and failed like 3 years before.

When games became so financially focused, the amount of ignorant and unserious people grew exponentially.
Money truly brings out the worst in douchebags.

Today’s closed games are the quickie me-too cash-grabs that started dev 7 years ago.

Yesterday, we watched Magnolia for the first time. What a cast - many of which I saw perform during @pftompkins.bsky.social many variety shows.
Today, we saw Goat - which is somehow a pleasant mashup of Space Jam & Zootopia.

Can you imagine him trying to duck a thrown shoe?

Woulda sure been nice if that device had an analog stick, though. Playing 3D platformers on the d-pad is like driving a Corvette with automatic transmission.
