You don’t stop abuse for some people by causing abuse for others.

That said, this whole discord identity thing goes far beyond that. It’s not about safety, it’s about control. Anyone who has their wits about them knows this already. This particular whole safety thing is a red herring and opens far too many doors for authoritarian abuse.

There absolutely should be barriers and restrictions, but the same could be said for anything where safety and abuse can be an issue. However, we often forget that people are, well, people, even kids and teenagers. The point is to create safety without crushing who they are and might become.

Fable 2. The original Fable was a letdown for most folks, but I had no expectations going into it and enjoyed it. I expected the second game to follow, but it was one of the most boring games I’ve played where it couldn’t even compare to the first. It’s the reason I don’t preorder games anymore.
