Yes that's it. I think he wouldn't be immensely happy with the sound they've went for....which is kinda sad.

It's fab to hear the demo vocal in such clarity......but it kinda sounds like a big bone dry demo vocal really up front and sticky-outy. I think I'm the only person that liked the ghostly tape vocal. Sounded more like a record. Having said that the guitars sound nice and clear. Glad it exists etc.

Happy birthday wonderful Beatles For Sale, the most maligned of all Beatles albums... Certainly seems to be getting quite an unfair bashing of late but love it. Great sounding LP.

They should do a Complete Beatles Archive streaming subscription service. Every take, every tape track, every session, every live concert all available to stream. It would be a MASSIVE hit.

At the Neil Innes Celebration the other night a lady lay down next to where I was standing DURING this song. Thought wow she's really making a statement but thought I better ask...nope was having an episode so I alerted staff. They promptly took her away and also my coat too which was next to her. 🤷

Seems hard for folk to accept, but pretty much without exception when you hear falsetto on an early (62 to 65) Beatle song it's JOHN. Paul always sings high full voice. John is falsetto guy. If you want to get in to it see me after class.

Actually it's only John you can hear. He does all the top-line falsetto lines on EVERY early Beatles song. Paul always full voice when high.
