I had so much fun putting together a little character card for the main character of my YA Contemporary WIP "Our Last Fall." She's struggling, but she's here. #amwriting

The classes and instructors were excellent, and by the end I had a finished 100 pages of a WIP manuscript. And best of all, I met and became friends with other amazing sapphic writers that I still write with. I can't wait to start Writing Academy 2 later this year! 3/3

I love the idea of doing things that feel right to you but might feel wrong to others. Is there a right or wrong way to grieve? 4/4

Apparently, the most popular rides for people to spread ashes at are the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. It happens so often that cast members are actively on the lookout for anyone trying to put their loved one to rest there.

A question I love to ask and be asked is: what inspired your story? Inspiration can come from so many different sources, from other stories or real-life events. For "Our Last Fall," the initial nugget of inspiration came from an article I read about how many people sneak ashes into Disney Parks. 1/4
