please dont congratulate me on my bravery or whatever for being trans, I just am. it's patronizing.

The debate about HRT as a vital to transition—and to be clear, it ISN'T for everyone—is hard for me to engage with calmly sometimes.

Socially transitioning as a trans woman without any medical transition is an extremely scary, vulnerable experience. And it was my life for 15 years.

The thing is, if you suggest China is a normal country, people will
A.) mention every bad thing thats ever happened in China as if they don't happen elsewhere
B.) Simply make shit up because they will believe any claim abt China so long as it's bad

I get a lot of women who recently started their transition telling me it’s overwhelming to try to learn how to beautify/style themselves. And that’s true! Cis girls get to absorb ambient knowledge of this stuff growing up. Here’s a thread of some advice for ramping up, and tips that helped me.

I was as "valid" as a transgender person during the 5 years before I started hrt as I am now, but
1. I was just scared of starting hrt and now wish I started way sooner
2. no transsexual ever told me I was invalid as a trans person
3. transsexual is not a scary bad word it's normal and amazing <3
