What sort of motivation do you think might work for you? Learning something new can be challenging so this is a completely reasonable concern :)

Yes you should learn some C#. Not because VisualScripting is bad
but because having a better and more complete understanding of how things work will make you a better developer.

Another plus one for mint. My partner is not a dev and prefers it to windows. Aside from a handful of anti heat related games it runs everything very well.

Spent half an hour waiting for @swpolice.bsky.social to pickup the phone (on 101) to report some people driving like crazy on the mountain. You might say, why not use their live chat service? Apparently it demands I enable cookies and then even after enabling them still won't work.

Can you say more about your requirements for the server? Have you used Elixir much prior to this? What other questions can I or other Elixir Devs answer?

I've implemented a middleware server for a game with elixir and it was a hit. I've done several toy implementations for game servers and they worked but I don't have evidence of it working in a serious situation (though have complete confidence it would).

One of the things I really enjoyed about Knight of Sidonia was in the 2nd episode they fire a big gun and you think "cool, a big gun". Then you see the size of the shell and the absurdity of it starts to kick in. Fantastic #knightofsidonia

I've tried local solutions on a 16GB card, they ran out of tokens incredibly quickly and I found near no value in them. I was using them with the Zed editors agentic features. I'm happy to try specific setups locally if you have ideas though!

It shows me what the interface is but not the purpose. What is my adversary (if any), is there an AI opponent, is it the clock etc etc? I think it's a great first attempt at a trailer, you should be really happy with that first step :)
