It seems that all the Hard hitting intense TV shows are constantly showing people eating with their mouths open. I believe it is supposed to show rawness and edginess in filmmaking. If all directors do this it gets old.

I went to a rock concert and my decibel meter said 110. I watched all the concert goers put their ear plugs in when the music started. Why are we doing this? Turn the music level down and take the plugs out! The sound would be so much better and we would all keep our hearing for a few more years.
