Mom, IT Professional, Advocate - Public Ed, LGBTQ+, Diversity, Women, etc, etc, etc. Very invested in local politics. And lastly β¦ 5th Generation Texan. Also Scifi nerd - books, movies all of it π€. And video games.
Which GOP dark money super-pac put these out π
01.03.2026 22:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The suburban vote π. Thatβs people mad about their school districts.
01.03.2026 21:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Apologies for understanding political strategy I guess π€·ββοΈ. She will have a very hard time with the Hispanic voters. Thatβs not an opinion - the Rs have already made public statements about attack ads and these will unfortunately be true π¬. thehill.com/homenews/med...
01.03.2026 20:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Maybe,but probably not Rep Crockett who has made very problematic statements about the Hispanic community - βSlave mentalityβ will be the focal point of attack ads and will be run in every single Spanish media market in Texas. Texas is 40% Hispanic. In a profile from Vanity Fair - direct quotes.
01.03.2026 17:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs mostly influencers and grifters and people with their own agendas who donβt actual live in Texas commenting the most like this. Actual Texans like me (the only ones that get to actually vote in this race) are very happy to have 2 great candidates to choose from and it gives us hope π.
01.03.2026 17:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We have 2 amazing candidates to choose from π.
01.03.2026 14:23 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Mr Webb wants Jasmine Crockett to win. Thatβs it.
01.03.2026 14:14 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs a choice between 2 great candidates ππ. Full out support for whoever wins.
01.03.2026 14:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I can tell you that Texas voters are giddy over having 2 amazing candidates to choose from. We are so excited for this race and it is bringing people out to vote! Will help the down ballot races too - can flip some seats π
01.03.2026 13:57 β π 23 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And none of the people posting about this race seem to give a crap either. Thatβs my viewpoint as the mother of biracial/LGBTQ kids who lives in Texas and has watched hate laws being written against my children.
01.03.2026 13:49 β π 17 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I voted Talarico because of his strong and unwavering support for our LGBTQ, especially transgender, kids here in a Texas. He has been a loud, unwavering advocate for these kids for years in the Texas Lege, while most Democrat politicians were throwing them under the bus for votes.
01.03.2026 13:47 β π 24 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Iβm going to play Silksong.
28.02.2026 22:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0ππ. Go Wesley Hunt we need a runoff!!
28.02.2026 22:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yep he will get enough votes to cause a runoff π.
28.02.2026 22:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thatβs my current Texas Congressional Rep Wesley Hunt π. Heβs running in the Senate race where itβs a race to the bottom to appeal to the insane R primary voters in Texas.
28.02.2026 22:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes for a general, but Cornyn probably wonβt make it through the primary. The RNC has put something like $60 million dollars backing Cornyn because Paxton is so toxic in a general and it hasnβt made a dent. He would be much harder to beat in the general.
28.02.2026 21:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think it is uniting everyone - ICE terrorizing the state has energized everyone and the surge demographic voting in our Democratic primary are Hispanic Voters π₯π.
28.02.2026 21:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He wonβt, heβs a RINO per our looney Rs in Texas, and especially the really batshit ones who vote in the primary. It will probably go to a runoff and Paxton will win. The Rs love Paxton here because he fights βwokeβ.
28.02.2026 21:07 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Out of state opinions from both sides. The misinformation drives me insane.
28.02.2026 19:40 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs insane π The politics here is like no other state because we are so big and so diverse. Totally different campaigning depending on who is targeted. The Hispanic community is the 2nd largest voting block in Texas but you wouldnβt know that by all the noise from out of state opinions. Annoying.
28.02.2026 19:39 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Yeah that part didnβt make much sense. Iβll be so glad when this primary is over - I live here.
28.02.2026 19:31 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβm sorry, what? Whose campaign was this, either really stupid or really inexperienced π.
28.02.2026 19:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Would you have expected Harris County to be higher than it is based on the other big city turnouts? Or we are just so big thatβs it is so much harder to GOTV. Iβm trying to get a handle on Harris county relative to other county turnout. We need to do better!
28.02.2026 18:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think itβs #1. And she is also fond of Jasmine - no harm in that (as you said) π. Harris County vote I donβt think is at the levels that Crockett needs yet. Trying to get out the low voters, non-voters. Hispanic/Asian vote is up from prior years, white/black vote a little down from prior years
28.02.2026 14:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
The Republicans will make her quotes (in the article) the centerpiece of their attack ads in a general. It will be ugly and inflammatory and work very well because she actually said this π€―. Gives me anxiety to think about just how bad this looks.
theaustinindependent.org/did-jasmine-...
This primary is ugly and lots of folks coming out of the woodworks who donβt live here. Jasmine will struggle here in the general with the Latino voters which make up 40% of Texas, and itβs not because of her race/gender as much as her past statements on the Latino community - Vanity Fair profile.
28.02.2026 04:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I had 5 copies of the ballot pre-filled out for my voting household. My husband just votes how I tell him to ππ.
28.02.2026 03:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thank you. I actually care more about our down-ballot Texas races more because this Senate is a long shot no matter what. Lots of pickup opportunities for Ds in the Texas Lege and Congress. And the senate race is ramping up the turnout π.
28.02.2026 02:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And I like Jasmine Crockett, but her campaign is not set up for a general win. Our state is 40% Hispanic and you have to have outreach there. This is the demographic that leaned Trump in 2024 but is now leaving the R party in droves because of ICE terrorizing people. Itβs a disappointing campaign.
