I did the same on my artbaby days, but sadly I hated the finished eyes SO much that I redid them every time.. That’s the reason why I finish them as the very last step :<
It frustrated me so much.. And I tried a LOT of different approaches, so this is my solution 😭

Same here eye coloring is something so important for the whole artwork. If the face/ eyes looking like crap.. it can destroy the whole vibe >O< so I hate it because I know if I fail I’ll sit there for HOURS to fix it 🫠
