Seattle Neighborhood Greenways (SNG), a democratically-governed nonprofit, has helped improve public space for 15 years, notwithstanding its confusing "greenways" name.
As a major SNG supporter, Washington Bike Law is excited to be part of SNG's next chapter as @streetsalliance.bsky.social!

The Presumed Liability bill for drivers involved in crashes with people walking or bicycling will not become law in Washington this year.
HB 2095 may be dead but its Prime Sponsor, @staterepjuliareed.bsky.social, is very much alive & is already planning how to pass this law next session.
Thanks!

Iβm not sure how many people just marched by our office, but it went on & on & looked like thousands.
Regular people are not happy about ICE. Perhaps sending masked men who shoot citizens trying to help their neighbors isnβt like Trump shooting someone on 5th Ave as he once mused that he could.

Dear ICE/DHS/CBP you have no idea what level of compassion and love for our neighbors you have opened up in Minnesota!
3,000+ cyclists in 20Β° weather biked seven miles for a man we loved, a city we love, and ALL of our neighbors that we love.
