Took a trip to The Phillips Collection in Dupont Circle before grabbing coffee and making the big drive back home to Pittsburgh. ❤️ I looove Impressionist art, and I just stared at so many of these pieces for such a long time admiring all the tiny details!

My first time ever seeing Shenandoah National Park! We went on a gorgeous 3 or so long hour hike on the Upper Hawksbill Trail, and saw some incredible views of all the changing leaves. The trail was a little crowded, but everybody was super chatty and friendly! 🍂

Thanks to the ongoing government shutdown, all of the Smithsonian museums are closed unfortunately, but thankfully some museums like The Phillips Collection are still open. Some trails in Shenandoah National Park are accessible to the public, too, so we’ll be making the most of it.

finished off a VERY hectic midterm week at uni really well!! My eyes feel SO heavy even though I’ve been sleeping well, I’m just so mentally frazzled and exhausted. 😭

I finally got to see Weapons last night with some friends and WOW I don't think I've ever had so much emotional whiplash watching a film. It was funny, depressing, deeply unnerving and terrifying, and altogether just gave me a ton of goosebumps. One of the best horror films I've seen in a while!

I feel like I accomplished a lot today in terms of schoolwork, but I just feel kind of spent mentally. I think I'm just feeling lonely for not having the free time that I had before with my friends.

I finally have a day to get out for a walk in the city and not worry about any kind of work at all and I feel so refreshed 🥹 My part time job’s left me feeling kind of burnt out lately, coupled with school, so I really felt like I needed a little break.

Guh I wanna fly out to Santa Fe just to revisit Meow Wolf again, didn't get the chance to when I went this year... I also just want to soak in those beautiful Southwestern mountains and deserts and try all the amazing food all over again.

The DK Bananza DLC looks amaaaazing, I love how they’re bringing in roguelike mechanics to spice things up! The new Metroid Prime 4 footage looked incredible, too!

I'm so happy Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are getting a proper rerelease on the Switch, but jeez 70 DOLLARS for both games??? This feels incredibly exploitative for games that are not only over a decade old, but haven't even really been remastered much at all...
