Ozzy transcended music, and The Osbournes Season 1 on DVD was the first I bought for my PS2 from FYE. When I realized I wanted the uncensored version, I had to get back in line and flash proof that I was 18+ - my first brush with law and order.

So many bands can point to their influence! Stooges, Metallica (Cliff years!), X. Hell, even the Pixies' formula of quiet, loud, quiet could be traced here. It all hits.

No shit - Sabbath has been at the top of my recent listening heap since their last show, and it really reinforced for me how large their influence was.

This performance embodies what Ozzy meant - the band could absolutely stand on its own, but he elevated everyone around him with his voice and his stage presence.
