@thecatreviewer.bsky.social this is Smokey Lemon who I met two days in a row in my neighbourhood. I hope I see them again soon. They are v soft and get around well with only one eye.
10/10 for balance and good looks.
9/10 as they were not keen on a head stroke. Will try again to improve the score.

This well-camouflaged beauty appeared on my walk today. They sniffed my fingers, made a flehmen face and backed off a little (presumably detected my own cats). Obviously cautious so I will try again for pets if I see them again. @thecatreviewer.bsky.social

I was on my way to pick up my new specs and got half way & a guy walked past & said, "you won't get through there, mate."

"Why?"

"There's a jumper on the bridge, he's just jumped & they're closing the road as it's a crime scene.

Wasn't a total bust though, I saw that lovely black cat again.

This is the first time I’ve been able to pet her in some time (I don’t usually go onto peoples’ driveways to pet their cats, but I haven’t had contact with Pretty in YEARS so I made an exception when she was on the drive this time) The low sun is behind her, and she’s walking across grey tarmac with hints of green, a grey metal gate in the background.

A closer look at dem paws, oh they are pretty! White socks with ginger splodges at the end of black legs, with some white whiskers getting on on the action at the top of the image. You can more clearly see the green moss between the grey tarmac stones that she’s standing on.

I had my first contact with Pretty for ages yesterday, the first time in years! We’ve been friends for a while (she’s on my usual daily walk route) but she’s been a bit scared to come out to see me. Had to trespass a bit to stroke her, but totally worth it. Lovely puss.

@thecatreviewer.bsky.social Beautifully coloured chap, very vocal - before filming, wouldn't shut up, much miaow-purring "breeow", rolled around ON THE KERB if you please, then jumped up at the merest tap on the wall. Note braced paw deployment. Went all tranquil, heard a bird, forgot we existed.

First Bluesky post in ages. Just to say, my previously under bed cat is now a friendly sofa cat who just wants strokes and fuss.
