Very possible. Our company uses them in a number of locations for tertiary connections if our primary and secondary go out. There've been a few odd occasions where we've opened new stores with them bc the commercial networking was delayed. The caveat - it's great... when it's up.

Actually, my only real regret is that the Most Excellent @karanslade.bsky.social is teaching and preaching all over the Diocese during her own sabbatical, but my church work keeps me from seeing it in person.

This is as thrilled as it gets. Handling the church over the summer with a rector who is on vacation, in addition to my job with the Diocese, and squeezing in my full-time secular job that pays the bills. But no complaining - I get a full three hours of sleep each night. 😂

Maybe the work right now isn’t to have answers, but to stay tender. To refuse to become numb. To let ourselves be moved, even if it’s messy.

But I think you're right: our faith doesn't give us permission to harden our hearts nor to disengage because the world is unfair. It asks us to love. To pray even when we don’t feel it. It's a strage tension to hold our grief and hope in the same hand.

Thank you for sharing this so vulnerably. I’ve felt some of that same ache. It's like being torn between the heartbreaking loss of young lives and grappling with the painful truth that not all tragedies are treated equally.

There's a lot of other classes to pack in with only three years. My wish is that there could be some level of scripture that was a part of each term, especially given the is the lynchpin for all other aspects of the faith.
