My 2 cents:
1. Skip the cardio. Use a warm up set prior to working sets if you need to.
2. Employ antagonistic supersets with minimal/no rest. e.g., curls & extensions, presses & rows. Two movements in half the time.
3. Instead of X sets/Y reps, balance intensity using an RIR/RPE method.
45 to 60 mins, 3-4x week. The more time I'm in the gym the less I like going to the gym, so shorter focused sessions are how I can keep up consistency.
