it just seems like a really miserable and myopic way to engage with art
to feel beholden to what is and is not Canon
to never infer or imagine the unspoken details yourself

Been pouring a LOT of love into Paratopic: Overdub. Some before/after shots of how this is turning out~

if you watch enough low budget japanese horror movies you will stop caring about visual realism in art, it will save you

figure & anatomy studies are mostly what I get myself to do but they're not really "FOR" anything and motivation plummets for months after doing some. think I just need to start drawing sprites and designs for a game project so there's a sense of purpose besides "studies"

need to figure out a way to turn drawing into a project oriented goal while being okay knowing the project wont turn out as good as Id like
