Short 41 mile drive this morning to The Observatory in Santa Ana, Orange county. Refilled the fresh water tank...^^

Sold out crowd were bouncing...^^

Because the drive to Los Angeles CA was so relatively short, and the follow on show in Santa Ana CA even shorter, for a rare change I was able to catch the band I'm driving for on this tour, Invent Animate.

Very impressive show, sold out too...^^ (the reader board is wrong btw IA headlined)

Didn't take any photos in San Diego but here's the sunrise in the mirror as I drove 500+ miles from Marfa TX to San Diego CA...^^

I did take this photo, at sunset, of my BandWagon parked beside the opener's at El Cosmico in Marfa Texas yesterday, Easter Sunday. It was the 500+ mile halfway stopping point on our way to the next show in Tucson AZ...^^

I didn't actually get any photos at the third show, but here's my oatmeal banana and tea breakfast in Dallas...^^

Detour Japan McDonald's...^^

Even though I'm vegetarian, there's something very reassuring about getting a notification from McDonald's Japan at 11pm advertising the potato bacon pie is back...^^

This was kind of the end of tour photo. Not often I get to go for some eats with the musicians I drive for, but always welcome...^^

#luckypenny forgot that they are temporarily halting the minting USA 1 cent coins. In Japan they have a 1 yen coin. It feels so light it's like play money or plastic. It's pure aluminum. Pennies and aluminum.

So I guess this is tour day 0 for me, or is it -1 or even -2
. Travel day for tour driver. Made plain onigiri for lunch, with fresh (real) wasabi. Taking the remainder of the wasabi root on tour as it will spoil if I leave it. Washed down with Mitsuya cider, from Daiso this morning...^^

Instagram let's you download everything you posted. Going to the coffee shop in the morning with my laptop and a 128gb usb thumb drive to download it all before I delete it. Facebook will follow. Twitter was deactivated last year, I don't think there was much on there really anyway...^^

Just realised that letting go of these two motorcycles is a bit like letting go of Facebook and Instagram, all have served their purpose and it's time to move on.

There they go. Always a little odd to see motorcycles I've owned move on. Both were well cared for. But it is a release. Down to just three now, the Triumph Bonneville T120, Suzuki GS500F, and the Honda CM250C.

Instagram is pretty dead to me now too. I don't miss either apps.

I sold my Yamaha and Kawasaki motorcycles the other day, using marketplace. It was a bit crazy as apparently selling motorcycles at a fair value has become a bit of a rarity. Anyway, they are gone. I only really have one reason to keep Facebook now and that's the private tour driver’s group.

I'm looking forward to going to NAMM tomorrow and especially the She Rocks awards show. Grateful to be afforded the opportunity to go support women in the music industry, and catch a live show with female fronted artists. The misogyny and bias in the industry is real, I've seen it first hand.
