More research is needed:
- To get a much better understanding of patient experienced costs
- Understand how costs differ with patient and tumour characteristics
- To understand the costs of rarer cancers
- Find out how innovation changes these costs over time

Policy implications:
- Cancer prevention strategies are crucial
- Early diagnosis will save money in many cases
- Improving integrated palliative care can improve end-of-life experiences and save money
- Improve data access to support more detailed analyses

TIPS FOR MOVING FROM XITTER TO BLUESKY Before you start following people, fill out your profile! Bio, PFP, banner, and post at least 5 to 10 things. Just reuse your top 10 banger tweets-recycling is encouraged! This way, when people see you followed them and they check your profile, they'll know what you are about and might follow back. Turn off NSFW filters in Moderation > Content Filtering ( Lenny face) Find your friends using a tool like skeet. labnotes.org or Sky Follower Bridge. Not perfect, but they'll find the majority of the people you were following. Turn on "show posts from my feeds" in Settings > Home Feed Preferences. This will add random posts from them to your main feed, but tweaked to your liking, no ads and BS. I recommend the Catch Up feed (kinda like a "best of"). Tweak Reply Filters to something that works for you, also at Settings > Home Feed Preferences. This shows replies from people you follow to anyone else on your main feed. I have mine set to 2 likes

I have mine set to 2 likes, so if any reply gets more than 2 likes, it shows up on my feed. This has nothing to do with replies to your own posts, you'll see those anyway in your notifications. Block often. Don't interact with trolls, don't quote dunk, comment, nothing. Let them rot in silence, just block them. This is the Bsky way. Likes on reposts do not trigger notifications. If you only repost stuff, it might look super quiet even if people are liking what you repost. Try more regular posts or quotes! (quotes do trigger like notifications). It takes fime to rebuild, and that is fine, but the best time to do it is right now. Twitter is only gonna get worse.With only 10% of the followers in Bsky, most of us end up having twice as many interactions. Fewer bots, more people who care, no more playing for a racist algorithm
