This tall drink of water with the candy-corn face is the saddle-billed stork (Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis), native to sub-Saharan Africa.

They can be almost 5 foot tall (150 cm), with wingspans of 9 foot (270 cm).

They're wading birds, fishing in shallow water of lakes & wetlands.
