Legitimately amazing how many Boomer liberals grabbed onto shitty AI art to make the worst possible garbage imaginable. They're identical to posts made by MAGAts, and their critiques are always the hollowest shit related to the topic

I am incredibly honored to be the DFL endorsed candidate for Minneapolis Mayor. This endorsement is a message that Minneapolis residents are done with broken promises, vetoes, and politics as usual. Itโ€™s a mandate to build a city that works for all of us. fatehformayor.com/donate

I need to read alt text more often. Appreciate it! Could get some nice snippets of info from it

This isn't "socialism", this is Social Democracy. Socialism is specifically about giving the means of production to workers and eradicating capital. This is capitalist washing of a primarily Marxist theory

27.06.2025 04:53 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

What book is this from? I would love to add this to my list

"All that much" I don't think any of her ideas are anywhere close to sound. Also, going to be blunt, if you're a political scientist and you can't mostly look past personal experiences when brewing up theory, you're not a good political scientist. Rand is infantile in her observations

27.06.2025 04:09 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I disagree, and the public perception of "Democratic Socialism" is very much so one of social democracy. If you ask Mamdani or AOC or Bernie or Ilhan Omar or any one of those DSA politicians "What is the end goal youre striving for" the vast majority will say "What the Nordic countries have"

27.06.2025 00:13 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

*Democratic Socialist, who are just more radical social democrats, i.e capitalists. Mamdani just believes in heavily regulated capitalism and free social and infrastructural services. It's still not socialism

26.06.2025 15:42 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

This snooty attitude of "Well everyone should just agree with me" is exactly why Kamala and centrist Democrats *lose*, and why Mamdani and progressives are *winning*, because Mamdani PUSHES PROGRESSIVE POLICY IN ADS

26.06.2025 14:52 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

She, could've, idk, done "I'm going to tax the rich that Trump wants to let loose in America, I'm going to stop the 1% from gouging our working class for essentials like food and housing, I'm going to fight for every family and give them the help they need to grow." She needed to otherize the right

26.06.2025 14:51 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

There was 2 minor policy mentions in there and only 1 was specific, the price gouging one. The rest is centrist "unity" fluff that hasn't meant anything since the Clinton campaign. She should've focused on pushing her core policies in her ads and envigorating a base

26.06.2025 14:48 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Yeah, I can agree with that.

26.06.2025 14:37 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

If Kamala had bold, flashy campaign promises about changing the direction of the country, yeah that's going to entice voters, maybe get them engaged in the conversation. Saying "We're going to hold hands with former Republicans and unite the country to a state that most people hated" won't do much

26.06.2025 14:36 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I voted for her, I'm explaining why others didn't. Yeah, sorry to say but most people don't look deep, and your most important policies SHOULD BE ADVERTISED, not solely in an issues tab that most people don't look up. Trump explained his bullshit framework almost every ad he put out

26.06.2025 14:34 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

It depends on the party system at play. Yeah, under a capitalistic society where both parties are center to center right with only a handful of differences, it'll be messy electoral bs.

26.06.2025 14:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

She did *barely* did, and she absolutely did not *promote* any of her decent ideas, like the child tax credit thing she brought up a handful of times to primarily town halls. Most of the advertising focused on "unity" and promoted endorsements were primarily centrist to former Republicans

26.06.2025 14:31 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Every mayor is biased towards their political beliefs, congrats!

"Promised little change in the status quo" referred to the stagnant state of the lower class in America. Kamala did not promise any significant tax increases for the rich, social program expansions, or anything to entice independents and young people. Also Kamala is pro Israel

26.06.2025 14:27 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Social democracy is not socialism. It's "nice capitalism", to which workers are still exploited and most of the exploitation is offshored to foreign countries for the sake of domestic citizens

26.06.2025 08:03 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 4    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Yeah, the jist of what I meant is you go from municipal to state to national, at least in terms of party dynamics

26.06.2025 05:44 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

They voted in the 2020 election, Harris and Walz were *not* a good ticket. Harris couldn't even promise an arms embargo for Israel and promised little exciting change for the status quo. I also could not find the 25% number

26.06.2025 05:40 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

*a protected first, misphrasing by me

26.06.2025 02:38 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

This isn't a generational class, but by no means is it a weak class and it has a lot of *solid* prospects

26.06.2025 02:34 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

This is *certainly* not a weaker draft class, a LOT of physical projects and really solid fundamental players in the second half of the first. They absolutely could've gotten some protected firsts or at least some more second rounders for the 16th pick

26.06.2025 02:33 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Meant to type top 16, that's on me. Do you know what the Trailblazers could've done? Trade down further, most likely still get Yang in the mid 20s, and have more capital. Picking a *pure* bench player 16th overall in a quite deep class is absurd.

26.06.2025 02:27 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I'm sorry but choosing a guy who you plan on being on the bench for the foreseeable future in the top 15? A guy who was projected in the mid 20s pick range? No, this isn't a good pick.

26.06.2025 02:16 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

You're just racist, it's as simple as that.

25.06.2025 22:46 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

She wanted a ceasefire but didn't support a basic arms embargo and kept fighting for existence of Israel as an ethnostate. Sure pal.

25.06.2025 22:38 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

She did not back M4A in the campaign and actively stated she would continue supporting the current Medicare under Obamacare. You keep saying broad statements like "you don't care about women's rights" because you need to paint us as evil internally to justify extremely dumb shit
