People HAVE been pretty distracted this week, I say go for it

Most press carry credentials if they’re out reporting, but may not. This sounds a little cosplay to me, especially if they’re not reporting from, say, a protest where they need obvious ID. (Not that it matters these days, they’ve been getting pepper sprayed and shot with “nonlethal” rounds anyway)

Came back, upon reflection, and if I am wearing something that looks like I should smell like Sun-ripened raspberry body spray from Bath & Body Works and have a pack of Marb reds in my back pocket then I have achieved cigarette mom rock uni. Yesterday was that day.

That’s my normal uniform.

But like 70s baseball t with BOC on it is a super solid guess, I was impressed

And I basically wore an outfit identical to my first gen cigarette mom rock (Fiona Apple) days at age 16 today, oversized flannel shirt, tank top, jeans, straight hair, raisin makeup

Cigarette Mom Rock is apparently the answer to Dad Rock (but don’t get me started on that term) and is referencing woman-fronted 90s bands/artists. Like a Lilith Fair but the maybe perceived edgier or rougher, Alanis being one example. Sheryl Crow. I’d totally put Meredith Brooks, Tracy Bonham…

I LOVE guessing games! NO. But this is a valiant guess, good enough that if you don’t know the reference, I almost want to give it to you.
