01.03.2026 20:41 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Both can be true. The party has sunk to historic lows. Carpet baggers shopping around with performative campaigns to get their foot in the door is part of the reason for that.
01.03.2026 19:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Cool. Electioneering is one of the reasons the Democrats are in the position they're in. They've done it at the national level and local level. This erodes local trust over time and pushes people away. This is more of the same, just because you like the candidate in question doesn't change that fact

Not only should carpetbagging be discouraged, donating to elections outside of where you're a constituent should be viewed as election interferance.
But regarding Kat, she's losing and once Luara Fine drops out her support swings to Biss.
That's not what a reprsentative government is supposed to be. She's not the only one that has done this but the media attention she is able to capture means she is going to be held to a higher bar of public scrutiny.
01.03.2026 14:34 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0She's not from that district. She moved there just to run and be in Congress. She doesn't have any tie to that community what so ever, the congressional seat is a stepping stone on the career in politics she wants.
01.03.2026 14:34 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 5 ๐ 0Her seriousness is not the issue with many people. It's that she's executing a playbook that the Democrats have been running for a few decades and has, in part, resulted in the party's current state: carpet baggging.

I build a Neovim blink.cmp source for Hex.pm. Now you can search hex packages from your mix.exs file, and autocomplete versions.

It blows me away that buybacks used to be illegal.
26.02.2026 22:47 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Chanting "tax the Jews" is blatant antisemitism. I condemn it unequivocally. Antisemitism is rising in our communities. One father shared that his 13 year old daughter did not want to display the menorah in the window of their house. We must speak out against this bigotry.

I've struggled to get the LLM to do actual TDD. More often than not I just see it writes assertions after it writes code.
I suspect you could write a programmatic harness to enforce TDD workflows for real.
We also don't need carpetbaggers who move to a district just to run without any connection to the local community. This is exactly the type of career-politician-in-waiting that has ruined the Democratic Party that we need to rid ourselves of.

MDEx v0.11.6 is out! github.com/leandrocp/md...
Added a new `:codefence_renderers` option and also some important fixes.

More benchmarking of cog-cli. The "Explore" is my new code exploration tool vs the "Traditional" Claude code Explore agent.
Est Cost / Tokens
This is a benchmark that runs in Claude Code. These are significant savings that wil compound over time.
Making more progress on cog-cli's debugger daemon. Here is Claude Code driving the debugger on a C program and inspecting memory, setting its own breakpoints on LOC and on function invocation.

16.02.2026 20:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We have that mostly working with Lighpanda but unfortunately their license is AGPL. They were nice enough to offer us an alternate license but after researching dual license projects it felt too risky to commit to that.

I'm skipping the rendering part for that very reason, as I'm not building it to be used as a replacement for Chrome, Safari, etc...
As you speculated, we plug in the native UI framework and delegate rendering to that. The browser will maintain DOM state and run JS on that DOM.
All of this has motivated me to implement these tools and needs outside of the browser work. So I've mostly paused for the month while I work on these tools with the hope/goal it will solve those needs when I restart in a few weeks.
We'll see.
Then the lost knowledge of what the agent may learn then forget during compaction or new sessions.
