When I got home I did get cuddles for being brave, so there’s that.

They did not. But I treated myself to a tasty coffee, and Mexican takeout for supper.

Spoke too soon. Different MMR jab and this one hurt like a bastard. But done is done.

Me too. It’s getting scary out there.

One nice thing is that MMR goes into fatty tissue, not muscle, so you hardly feel it.

I’m going to get the shingles vaccine too, while I’m at it. Basically, anything that’s on offer, which is wild because I’m needle phobic.

I got vaccinated as a child, but they weren’t doing full MMR here at the time, there were regional inconsistencies, and records are incomplete so I don’t know for sure what I got. Thus I’m eligible for a do-over. In fact, I get my second MMR tomorrow.

An under appreciated source of mental and emotional fuel is dopamine. Without it, it’s hard to do anything. Having moments of enjoyment is part of the fight.

It is approximately the size of a person's hand,made of bone, and intricately carved.

I've masked the lower half,as only the legitimate owner will be able to fully describe it.

Howard the black and white neat-fringed cat is loafing on a fake lap I made by stuffing an old pair of jeans. I put this at the top of the stairs next to the radiator for times when my lap wasn't available for him.

This photo just came up in my memories.

I made an auxiliary lap from an old pair of jeans for when my real lap was unavailable, and it actually worked 😀
