Having done some serious math...I can save about a third of what I'd need to, for our hopeful housing plan to go through. Thats as is right now, without the hope of my hours going up.

Man February has been really rough. Sorry everyone for all the delays and things. :( I promise I haven't forgotten all of you, I've just got a ton on the brain right now and juggling tasks has been hard.

I have my final 2 edits in the final stages to be sent out (probably tonight). After that commissions are open again. I'll need as much work as I can get.

On top of everything else going on, we're in need of new housing in the next 8 months or so. And I'm gonna need to save as much money as I can as I will not have much option for help.

Finally have a few days off work and my leg is feeling a ton better than it was (I'm still a little stressed though ngl). And family member is on the mend as well.
Things are settling down enough I can focus on editing again for a bit <3

Especially when you do it so young, hope almost felt insulting after a while. I don't talk about it much, but I even had "family" tell me that all people like me were worth was...ease of access, put simply.
Something I still struggle with as an adult today, with a loving partner currently.

This. I grew up hearing how no one would date me, and I'm fairly able bodied really. Always sweet, or cute - but not worth that level of care. Even my ex avoided telling his family about it.
Id always hoped mind you, but made room for the concept of being alone. Can't describe what that feels like.

It's really hard to date when you are disabled cause once people know the full extent of your disabilities and how it's affected your life. People run away. Doesn't matter how amazing or kind you are or whether you're independent. They don't care. It's very isolating.

One thing I forgot to mention for my goals...

I need to write more. Been working slowly on something for a couple years now and I think it's time I work on it more. Granted what I'm writing is very...complicated, and I'd rather take my time and tell the story accurately.

So much I want to do haha

"smaller" goals sure, but more achievable I guess?
I really gotta quit being so nervous and just...do things. And if I at least START, I'll be happy

My goals for 2026:
- Audition for more voice roles
- Completely overhaul my displays and such for art
- POST more
- Finish my new website
- Start vlogging again(?) (I want to but...nerves. I am getting a lot better with in person shows though!)
- New editing reel AND demo reel

Little update on this - I've done a ton of research and planning and honestly now I just need to write it all down and tackle it.
Found a few fellow Canadian artists to order from and support as well and I'm really looking forward that!
I am excited 😁

Been planning new artist alley display ideas. With focus being on relatively decent transport as I'm disabled and don't always have a helper.
