Can never fault the Japanese rule of cool with a lot of these things but I do think they thought hard about how a person's misconceptions of the world could shape reality and incorporated that as a semi-self-critique

Reason I'd encourage this is I think generally people don't really know this is indeed a thing you can do without any kind of commodity attachment or stakes and for many they just sort of adorn these as personal belief instead?

I'm a TTRPG nerd so of course I'd think this but I think everyone should indulge in a bit of worldbuilding from time to time, feels like something we ought to do more as a therapeutic creative exercise. Share it with others, engage with other's worlds and adapt them. Or not!

It's really basic English throughout and the only actual dialogue of complex topics is done between learned classes who probably had very similar words for things

Getting back into fantasy/sword and sorcery schlock a lot recently and watched Conan the Destroyer again. A thing I really like which might be a negative in any other film is how sparse all the dialogue is which feels kind plausible as to how a bunch of proto languages may have understood each other

though its funny that near the end her husband assumes it's kind of some sort of perpetuated misogynist sexual dynamic which is dismissed as outdated by the lover but the actual nature of the relationship is actually older than both views

Babygirl is really quite good, I like how it plays out as a dialectical sex therapy process from desire to childhood regression to fetish to its eventual sensual resolution.
