My oldest was playing Minecraft on the switch and my youngest wanted to play. My oldest doesn’t like split screen so I let my youngest play on my PC, which was her first time playing on keyboard and mouse.

She got used to it really quick, but made herself a post-it note to remember the controls.

Played my favourite board game, Terraforming Mars. I have all the expansions up to turmoil, but sometimes I like to take out all the extra stuff and play just the base game (Although we never played Hellas before, so we used that map.)

Stompa for #Orktober. The last Ork I had in my backlog. Did not have as much fun as expected, but glad I did it. He may not be meta, but he'll be fun in games.

Was about to buy a game on steam, but my steam wallet was low. So I left in my cart till I went on a break and grabbed my credit card.

Most of mine are too, and because of that I usually wait till I have a longer section done. But this particular friend is an avid reader in the genre I'm writing so I'll give her a scene or chapter I'm working on when she has time and if she is around.

I usually avoid being in the same room as my beta readers, but yesterday, I had to stick around and they were reading an important scene, one with a few jokes. Hearing them actually laugh out loud? Best feeling ever! 😆📖 #WriterWin

I always laugh when my daughter makes a new friend but forgets to ask her name. Yesterday, I spent hours chatting with someone at a miniatures paint night, only to realize I never got his name either. Like father, like daughter!🎨

I bought my wife the first book in a series she’d always wanted for Christmas. She loved it and immediately searched for the sequel, which got me curious. I read it too and liked it (though the age gap isn’t my thing), but it feels strange reading a gift I gave to her. 📚

Second draft of my book is done and edited. No more I can do for it on my own. I have read it over twice and can not think of any improvements. I now need to do my least favorite part of writing any piece of work. I need to send it out to the Beta Readers. Wish me luck.
