I had no idea he was a working photographer that long ago! I've met him a couple of times - an exceptionally lovely man who as a cinematographer could move effortlessly from hand-held observational filmmaking to some of the most (horrifically) beautiful imagery (as in Herzog's Lessons of Darkness).

Why do they keep folding like this? If a late-night comedian can fight back and win why can't mega-corporations?
