Living alone feels like self-care, until there are spiders, or noises downstairs, or the power goes out after dark.

you can't give your life more time, so give your time more life

some nights,
I am at the window alone

grateful for safe shelter-
I know what it is to be without-

yet still longing
to breathe Mother's
Autumn air again

some nights I ache
to return to Forest
to honor the cycle
of life, and decay,
and grief,
and rest

some nights
the rain is slow
and wind soft.

There is not a single reason to outsource your creativity to a computer.

To do so removes the very point of being creative in the first place.
