Tonight we went to the MOUNT CUBA OBSERVATORY for a talk about the star Rigel. There were 20 others. Jill and I were last into the room. The only 2 chairs available were the 2 chairs right in the middle of the front row. Perfect. The 2 chairs we would have grabbed if we were FIRST into the room.

I wonder if it will kill our chances to make meaningful connections on here if I just say, “IF YOU DON’T HAVE TIME TO WRITE A MEANINGFUL COMMENT TO A POST WE WILL NOT FOLLOW YOU BACK. This will make finding people to follow simpler, and if we do follow you, then we know we owe comments in return.

If you can't read it, the quote is from Poe's novel "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket": "Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of reality."

Our newest Lead Graffiti #broadside, printed slowly & patiently via #letterpress, will help visually explain Lead Graffiti’s interest in experimentation. An E.A. Poe quote was laser cut using our “Shahn Torn” letterforms printed in black ink over one of our “ink pulls." 14.5” x 22.5”. 11/2024.
