I found the year’s first Pipevine swallowtail!!

Sometimes hope is found in something as small as a butterfly.
When everything feels heavy, I walk along the creek near home. The sound of water over rocks, sighting fresh blooms, the call of birds, remind me that the world still hums with quiet life.

The whole sky just exploded in green here in Reykjavík. It was so bright, I didn't even need my flashlight to walk out to my neighborhood beach. It's rare when we get these whole sky engulfing shows.

This season has been something else.
