Trump said tariffs would reduce the trade deficit. Instead, it hit a record high in 2025. It's a good thing that trade deficits aren't actually a national emergency.

New York Times: "Kristi Noem, the Homeland Security secretary, said at a news conference that the agent who fired his weapon has been treated at a hospital and released. He can be seen in videos of the shooting walking around the scene after firing his weapon, with no apparent injuries."
