Fitness ~ engaging in calisthenics that are easy to do at home or on the move to increase flexibility and strength (hate cardio so I'll just start that when it's warm out)

Travel Bag ~ prepare a travel bag with the essentials (toiletries and clothes), make sure important documents and medication are easy to grab and any sentimental items are either stored, insured, or easy to take along

Self Defense ~ take a gun course and/or a self defense class; consider getting a concealed carry license even if you don't own a gun

Health Records ~ Prepare a card that identifies blood type, any chronic illnesses, any medicines, and allergies (consider having it in multiple languages)

Money ~ keep at least $100 cash around, have an international credit card with no foreign transaction fees on standby

Update Documents ~ make sure Driver's License, RealID, Passport, Passport Card, Car Registrations, insurances are current and active; Apostille your birth certificate; Get backups of important documents if possible

Location Services ~ Removing location services for most apps, setting any maps apps to minimum location settings (keeping some footprint is better than none), stay aware of when location is shared and when to turn off

De-centering G**gle ~ switching to Proton Unlimited (email, passwords, documents, VPN, and crypto), removing all passwords, documents, and photos from G**gle Workspace; use Map Quest for maps

Social Media privacy ~ checking settings and limiting data shared to third parties and increasing privacy setting, staying neutral on untrustworthy platforms (including my likes, saves, and messages)
