Yep. What do people who so vigorously promote eating animals have to fear about seeing where their lunch comes from?

I will love it if we don’t eat them. Love it

12.08.2025 10:59 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I have no inclination to block you. For whatever it's worth, with a few exceptions, I only block people who engage in conversation in bad faith. It tends to be someone making reasonable points, which I'm happy to discuss, who then reveals that they're only interested in time-wasting dickheadery. 🤷♂️
09.08.2025 20:38 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0With the small note that I've never said "meat is murder," where is the militancy? IIRC you *wished death* on people who harm animals, no? Is that not rather more extreme? I certainly haven't done that, and don't do that. I haven't even — to the best of my memory — told anyone they should be vegan.

09.08.2025 10:02 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Baby cows should not be shot in the head, and then allowed to gradually grow up and live their life.
People pretend they think this animal cruelty is irrelevant, yet this is what happens to produce Maltesers. I'm annoying? Killing baby animals for crappy, trivial treats is annoying.
Excellent non-animal pepperoni is available and works great on pizza, if you want to be a sneaky weirdo with your girlfriend without needlessly killing animals
09.08.2025 04:15 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don't actually believe that most people think mayonnaise from a squeezy bottle is worth killing newborn baby chicks for (which is what happens). Thankfully, plantbased mayo is widely available in supermarkets etc. There's even a Hellman's one. (Although fuck Unilever, etc.)
08.08.2025 11:26 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0You could replace them with plantbased "chicken" tenders, and no bastard would tell the difference.
07.08.2025 22:50 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I realise people get annoyed with me for saying "maybe we shouldn't shoot baby cows in the head for our preferred pastry treats" but — hear me out — what if you could enjoy a croissant without the animal cruelty? Well, the good news is: you can. Non-animal croissants, e.g., Pret's, taste identical.
07.08.2025 07:10 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Chickens are the most abused animal on the planet. They are sensitive, characterful creatures with individual personalities. They are affectionate, curious & playful. Their suffering has become normalised to the point of invisibility — an afterthought in a social media post. We can eat other things.

05.08.2025 20:51 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Ah yes eating animals is so "natural" for humans we have to safely store chickens' body parts at 4°C for no longer than 48 hours and then ensure it's heated to an internal temperature of 74°C or risk getting profoundly sick
05.08.2025 17:30 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Sadly, the lion was in a bloody circus.
05.08.2025 17:18 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Also damaged: the cows killed in the dairy industry to produce the cream for these trivial treats. But I know we don't like to think about baby cows getting shot in the head while we eat our cakes, so I'd best not mention it.
05.08.2025 17:17 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0People hate others' enjoyment of animal cruelty so much they write children out of their will.
People hate others' enjoyment of animal cruelty so much they wish bullfighters death.
People defend their own enjoyment of animal cruelty so much they rage at vegans for disturbing their bacon sandwich.
Tell you what else should be more popular. Not killing newborn baby chicks and baby cows for a trivial tastebud pleasure.
Yes, that happens for lemon curd. Sigh.
Lot of judgemental replies to this, but if only he'd chosen to hurt a pig, cow, lamb or chicken instead, he could have made some decent money.
04.08.2025 11:05 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0When it comes to caring about innocent baby animals, not killing a lamb for your trivial, selfish pleasure is superior to killing a lamb for your trivial, selfish pleasure

How do you know someone isn't vegan? Don't worry, as soon as they are in the presence of a vegan they'll say how much they respect your decision but each to their own and different people make different choices and they try to eat local organic animals and they simply couldn't live without cheese
