Day 17 cabin fever offset by being back on my most favourite, most familiar farmland. Unable to crop walk or look at things how I normally would but watching the birds flocking up was good enough for now

Supermarkets partner with Arla to test methane-busting feed additive for dairy cows - edie Morrisons, Tesco and Aldi have partnered with dairy company Arla Foods to trial a new feed additive which should reduce methane emissions from cows.

We need a farming system in the UK that puts nature at the heart and rewards farmers for protecting the natural environment. Key to that is ensuring that government creates schemes that reward genuine nature friendly farming, and that these are sufficiently well funded.
