Skylark numbers are the highest I can remember on the i54. 103 birds counted. 26 snipe and two Jacksnipe …. Green woody, kestrel, 20+ mippet. ( no sign of the stonechat 😑) @staffsbirdnews.bsky.social @westmidbirdclub.bsky.social

Lovely few days in the peaks walking the kinder scout.. Curlews,dippers,Merlin, … weathers been good as well.

Great numbers on the i54 this morning… 22 snipe 1 jack snipe, 3 green woody, 2 kestrel, 4 chiffchaff, 31 skylark, 2 stonechat, also flock of about 500 birds mainly consisting of chaffinch, made up with linnet and goldfinch. @staffsbirdnews.bsky.social @westmidbirdclub.bsky.social
