My Dad escaped the Nazis in 1939 on the Kindertransport.

Sadly, we have been shut out of this module, excluded as core participants.

The families we represent, including parents who lost children, will have no chance to put questions to the former PM.

This morning, the Covid Inquiry began hearings on the impact of the pandemic on young people.

Our thousands of members include parents who lost children and children who lost parents.

But the Inquiry has chosen to silence those voices by denying us core participant status.

Victim groups in other public inquiries have never been made to apply for core participant status module by module previously.

I am greatly concerned that there could be an ulterior motive for treating us in this way

Module with a lot of nuance about the various ways that the pandemic affected people. I am extremely concerned that the refusal to grant us core participant status will mean that key details will be overlooked and that the module will be biased to look at a certain viewpoint.

Participant status for this module and as a result, children that lost parents and other family members and parents that lost children will not be represented at the inquiry in the ways that we have endeavoured to represent people in previous modules.

When you are being asked about the lie regarding the "protective ring" resulting in the deaths of thousands of care home residents, it's not a good look to attack their bereaved families.

Matt Hancock has told the Inquiry that discharging untested NHS patients into Care Homes saved lives.

He says there was 'no alternative'.

We know, looking at how other countries dealt with the pandemic, that there was an alternative.

Lives could and should have been saved.

The Inquiry heard evidence that the consultants being paid millions by the Government didn't have a basic understanding of how testing worked.

Where is Rishi Sunak?

The @covidinquiryuk has repeatedly heard evidence that Rishi Sunak MP blocked financial support for people isolating.

That decision cost lives, yet bereaved families have been denied the chance to hear from the Covid Chancellor.

Dido Harding has suggested to the Inquiry that spending £3 million per day on Test & Trace consultants represented value for money.

Many consultants were paid more than £6k a day.

The Public Accounts Committee found there was no evidence that Test & Trace cut Covid infections.
