Few weird choices aside (maybe they’re not considering Levshunov and Demidov full time NHLers?), it’s so hilarious to have five teams here and four are recent or current bottom feeders, and one of them has won at least a playoff series in seven consecutive years.

Evgeni Malkin has played 19 seasons in the NHL. In only four of those seasons was he not at least PPG, including the last two seasons at 37 and 38 years old. He has scored over 100+ points three times and has been at 100+ point pace in a few others.

Yeah but I do watch a little differently than some people. I like to sit on my couch every single night and toggle between 2-4 games lol. So being able to use like… a controller and the Xbox is definitely preferred.

The Sportsnet+ price hike is absolutely insane. I’m too lazy to mess around with less than legit streams all year but I’m about to get really good at setting up VPNs. Might genuinely figure out how to get ESPN+ instead next year.

And at first I was a like “why would the CHL do this when they’re already losing 18/19/20 year olds to the NCAA” but I think that’s the answer. It makes the CHL a viable path for some players again in their draft or D+1 year, if they think they can go pro by 19.

Anyway this would be huge lol. It’s been the biggest insurmountable development delay for a specific, but not that small, group of players. That D+2 year in the CHL just feels like such a waste for the guys who would obviously be best served in the AHL.
