I find it hilariously absurd that all the politicians are fine holding Federal employees hostage because they can't manage to figure out how to address each issue separately. Instead, they make our livelihood dependent upon their own agendas. Both sides are failing the American people right now.

I miss Japan so much. Living there was absolutely mundane and normal while simultaneously being magical and otherworldly every single day. I really hope I get a chance to return some day...

Take a breath. Find some space, clear your head. Do something for yourself. The world is a big place. There are plenty of things that demand your attention. You'll get to them. For a moment, do something for yourself.

I love martial arts, too, but sometimes I need a hobby distraction that allows some escapism to transport me elsewhere for a little while.

There's a lot going on. Find some time, find something you love doing, and do it. Find some peace in the storm. That doesn't mean ignore what's going on in the world around you... but you don't need to allow events to control you.

It's hilarious how they live in an absolute fantasy world, they make things up that are so easily fact-checked and dismissed, but they're so collectively delusional that the keep doing it - and their followers still swallow it all...

We told them. For 4 years when he was POTUS, for another 4 years when he wasn't. We told them. We warned them. They hired him again anyway. Now they get to suffer, they get to learn the hard way. I have zero pity.

I read that only a week or so previously he was in Germany expressing support for their far right political group that are big fans of a political leader from 80 years back... So, yeah, he wasn't "waving" at the crowd. He did what he did.

Literally everything good we have in the US - including "the US" as a concept of governance - is the result of "liberal" thinking. Nothing in this "experiment" of genuine value has ever been the result of a conservative approach to anything.

Everyone should practice martial arts for at least six months in their life. I've been training for 40 years... it will alter how you look at life, how you see yourself, and how you relate to people around you.

If you're over 35, train in a legitimate form of Taijiquan. Thank me later.

I started training in martial arts in 1985. The real turning point was when I met my final teacher, Shifu John Scott. Nearly 10 years later, and I have no regrets making the commitment to his lineage.
