Agree, nothing to gain. Everything to lose if ACA subsidies get completely culled. But that also infers that they believed they had no chance of extracting a better deal; that GOP/Trump was immovable.

Really isnt that easy, frustratingly. Endowments are often seen as a reason uni’s can self support. But most are legally not accessible in the ways that give uni flexibility. Part of the donation usually binds them to set niche areas of donor interest. So no… cant just move the $ around sadly
