CAWR's Leonardo Faedo has received an award & seed funding (€ 2000) from FIAMO to host 2 workshops, in Groningen, Netherlands & Bucharest, Romania. As part of the Subtle Agroecologies research, they will focus on the use of homeopathic & biodynamic preparations in agriculture.

In December Barbara Smith & Ffion Thomas headed to Edinburgh for the British Ecological Society Annual Conference. Barbara gave a presentation on the need for collaboration between arts & science for ecological restoration & Ffion presented a poster on ash dieback disease based on her PhD research.

In Dec CAWR's Liliane Binego, Sue Charlesworth & Jana Fried (PI) visited Dr Kirsty Carden & team at the Future Water Research Institute at the University of Cape Town as part of their British Academy funded ISPoSA project. The visit enabled preparations for fieldwork in March.
