Paul Giamatti To Play An American Tourist Caught In An Eerie English Seaside Town In Horror Film ‘Boutique’ EXCLUSIVE: Two-time Oscar nominee and avowed genre fan Paul Giamatti has been set to star in his first horror movie in a decade with Boutique. Giamatti will play American tourist Calvin who “journeys to the eerie English seaside town that inspired the work of his favorite reclusive author but instead gets entangled with a murderous secret society permeating the whole town.” Filming is being lined up for this summer with the project heralding from writer-director Jim Gavin (Lodge 49). Giamatti will produce with Dan Carey through their company Touchy Feely Films (Outsiders) along with James Harris and Mark Lane for Tea Shop Productions (Obsession) and Guy Danella (Violent Night) for XYZ Films, who will also finance.

New Regency will serve as the lead studio with co-studios 20th Television and UCP on the project, written and executive produced by multi-Emmy Award winner Sascha Rothchild (GLOW, XO, Kitty).

While not yet acknowledging that Honey is a predecessor show to Killing Eve (Deadline brought you that news last year), the BBC has announced Ann Skelly (House of Guinness) in the lead role of Martha Schmitt, alongside Nate Mann (Masters of the Air & Licorice Pizza) as Kurt Fischer, Jannis Niewöhner (Munich: The Edge of War, Napoleon) as Friedrich Bauman, and Rory Kinnear (The Diplomat, The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power) as Graham Anderson.

Co-created by Licata and Pera, My Two Cars follows a man forced to grapple with an absurdly epic daily dilemma: choosing between his two beloved vehicles. Per the official description: “Imagine you are lucky enough to own both a PT Cruiser and a Mini-Cooper. Your day-to-day life would be insane! But also hard hard. The studio is developing a new feature version of Charlie’s Angels, the female-fronted action and crime adventure franchise, hiring Pete Chiarelli, the known for the Ryan Reynolds-Sandra Bullock romantic comedy The Proposal as well as the adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians, to pen the script.

Finished Fallout season 2. Big disappointment and waste of time compared to season 1. No idea how they made New Vegas so dull. And some major whiffs in casting that hurt the story, with Kumail Nanjiani, Macaulay Culkin, and Martha Kelly particularly ill-suited for their roles.
