Unfortunately they also abuse warehouse staff and routinely underpay women and workers of color. Avoid B&H!

BH photo is a no go — known to be incredibly exploitative and has been fined for abuses of its warehouse workers

You can report this as a “safety issue” to their customer service reps. I did, and it sparked a phone call and multiple emails and follow up.

“Dearborn” (say it, you
Mean “ay-rabbbs”) didn’t vote for Trump, they just refused to vote for a genocide apologist.

And then you write “Too many Democrats focus so much of their energy demonstrating how they’re better than other Democrats” ie, pot = kettle.

Your “hey Dearborn, what’s good post” has that classy less than subtle racism of blaming Arab American democrats for abstaining from a vote to elect Kamala, who refused to meet with them in the midst of a US funded genocide.

It’s the last afternoon of Tropic Bound, a fantastic biennial meeting of book artists, collectors, librarians, and booksellers in Miami, Florida. Here are some pictures of Latin American books that I brought to show at the fair. Complete details available here: www.arthurfournier.com/catalog.pdf

I’m happy to hear this and I look forward to learning what happens to it. I’ve worked closely with members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in Fort Yates, and I can tell you that it would be a major event for the Lakota people if White Bull’s storybooks could be shown at Sitting Bull College.

The New York Times is at this point an utterly failed news institution. It is a PR vehicle, and shopping guide, for oligarchs and nepobabies.

Does anyone know if this object will be going to Pine Ridge, Rosebud, or Standing Rock? If not, why not? And will it be available and easily accessible to scholars of Lakota history?

I’ll be in Miami for Tropic Bound, 6-9 February. It’s an amazing new event aimed at the Global South, drawing elements of Codex and the Printed Matter Art Book Fairs.

The cover of this booklet features such an arresting illustration. Does anyone know the name of the artist?

It contains a total of 24 original watercolor and mixed media sketches, including at least one work, which may be an original painting by Adolf Menzel.

I’ve been working on a tantalizing discovery re: the history of the German revolutions of 1848-1849. This is a handmade book, illustrated and compiled by "W.K.," whom I’ve identified as the German painter Wilhelm Kleinenbroich (1812-1895), one of the leaders of the Cologne uprising of 1848
